I was so happy to find that several blogging friends wished to participate in the Japanese Literature Challenge yet again. Although we are not numbering in the hundreds, as in the early days of 2006, these are the faithful few endeavoring to read Japanese literature throughout the months of January, February and March.

  1. This challenge is really a lovely idea. I’m not good at keeping up, but I do have a number of Japanese novels I want to read, and perhaps this will be an excuse to take one off the shelf. Most of the Japanese books I have are short, so it shouldn’t be a problem!

  2. Hi Meredith, I will be reading THE TEN LOVES OF NISHINO by Hiromi Kawakami soon. It will be published this summer, I am so glad I received the arc 🙂
I just want to let you know that I am participating, I did not see my name in the list 😌💛

    1. Oh dear, Sylvie, I thought sure I had you listed. I will double check and fix it immediately. How wonderful that you received an arc of a Japanese novel! I look forward to your thoughts of The Ten Loves of Nishino. xo
