    1. Sadly, not “Lisle as in Belgium”. This Lisle is in Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. But it is truly a special tree museum, the grounds of which are so beautiful to explore. I have gone since I was a child when my mother would take me, and I have always loved it. Did you know the Japanese have a word for the restoration one feels by being in a forest? I have to find out more about that…

  1. Bellezza, your photos are incredibly beautiful and serene. I love the idea of a tree museum. The Japanese concept you mention is called Shinrin-Yoku, which means Forest Bathing. Nature is so restorative; I feel refreshed just by viewing your wonderful post.
