World Book Night, which is on Shakespeare’s birthday, April 23, 2012. Today my husband and I went to Anderson’s Bookstore to pick up the book I’m giving away. There were about 100 Givers there, so excited to pass out their books at movie theaters, schools, and shelters. Not to mention Wal-Mart and Starbucks.
And, the book I’m giving? Not Because of Winn-Dixie as hoped, but still a thrilling novel:

I’m also looking forward to a quiet week: no more formal teaching observations, no more preparing for Open House, no more report cards to write; there’s only Book Club for which I’ll be leading a discussion on Hemingway’s A Moveable Feast. And, hopefully, a chance to get around and leave some comments!
